aggregate- composed of one or more kinds of rock fragments 

apron- the lowest piece of trim under the sill of an interior window

cantalever -
An extended distance of horizontal joists, past the vertical support.

decking
- the horizontal plywood or planked section of all floors and roofs a
formed piece of wood or steel to help guide.

gable
- the triangular piece of the roof system at either ends of a house.

joist -
"floor joists", usually the horizontal support beams for all floor systems
jig -a formed piece of wood or steel to help guide a tool or template for projects.

louvers
- a slatted paneled door for light and ventilation
plane - tool for smoothing and forming wood.

plumb -
perfect vertical

rafter -
one of the sloping timbers of a roof system as opposed to truss systems.
rip - to cut or saw a piece of material lengthwise.

truss -
a pre-engineered and manufactured sloping roof system.

wainscot
- the lower three or four feet of wood paneling on an interior wall.
