All generals carry approximately two-million dollars of liability coverage and workmans compensation for all its in house personnel. Subs and trades carry different levels of general liability and depending on the number of laborers and the size of the company may or may not carry any forms of workman compensation. Remember though you should always be in contact with your insurance company to upgrade at a minutes notice. Often times your insurer will forward all policies and amounts to any perspective clients at no cost to you.
